Pabulum secures multiple new contracts worth £7.5m


Specialist independent education caterer Pabulum has snapped up new business worth £7.5m with multiple contract wins.

The Hampshire-based school meal provider received top marks in the tenders to operate the foodservice at academies, primary and secondary schools and a community college, across the south of England.

Pabulum managing director Nelson Williams (pictured) said: “There is no doubt that Pabulum has been brought on board at these schools as a result of our passion for good quality, nutritious food. However, word of mouth and client referrals have also played a crucial part in gaining us the new business.”

The new contracts are as followed: Shenfield High School, Brentwood Essex, three-year contract with two year extension, valued in excess of £1,445,000; Winterbourne International Academy, Bristol, one-year contract valued in excess of £272,000; Woodland Primary School, Bristol, one-year contract valued in excess of £42,000; Peareswood Primary School, Erith, Kent, three-year contract with two year extension, valued in excess of £250,000; Alma Primary School, Enfield, three-year contract valued in excess of £366,000; The City Academy, Hackney, three-year contract with two one year extensions, valued in excess of £2,087,245; Cambourne Village College, Cambridge, three-year contract valued in excess of £111,000; Bristol Free School, Bristol, three-year contract with two year extension, valued in excess of £485,000; London Academy, Edgware, three-year contract with two year extension, valued in excess of £1,613,090; Community College Whitstable, Kent, five-year contract, valued at £800,000; North Cambridge Academy, Cambridge, one-year contract valued at £80,000.
