Centerplate celebrates £5m Royal Ascot contract win


The UK division of Centerplate (formerly the Lindley Group) has won a new five-year public catering deal at Royal Ascot.

The contract, worth around £5m, will see Centerplate operate and develop the public catering services and food offering in the Silver Ring and Heath Enclosure during Royal Ascot (17-21 June).

The company will introduce new catering concepts which celebrate British produce. These include a range of hand-held food such as fish and chips, 100% British beef burgers, and locally sourced sausages.

The catering firm will also operate its new farmers’ market style outlet called Sourced Market, and will also offer a selection of picnic options.

The bars will be offer traditional real ales and ciders, premium British spirits such as Sipsmith gin and sparkling English wines.
