Tortilla, the UK’s largest fast-casual Mexican restaurant brand, is pleased to announce the launch of new sites in Gatwick Airport and Leeds Skelton Lake Services in partnership with global food travel experts SSP Group plc.
Tortilla will open airside at Gatwick Airport today, 9 September, followed by Tortilla Leeds Skelton Lake Services on 6 October 2021.
Building on its successful partnership with SSP to date, through which it already operates a site at London’s Euston station, Tortilla will expand its footprint to include some of the UK’s most prominent travel hubs, including the UK’s second-largest airport*.
Following the launches, Tortilla will operate sites across rail, road and airport services for the first time.
Tortilla’s continued growth reflects the continued relevance of its high-quality proposition, growing brand awareness across the UK and increasing consumer focus on quality and provenance. It has opened three sites in recent months in Exeter, Edinburgh and Windsor, with Gatwick Airport and Leeds Skelton Lake Services being the company’s 52nd and 53rd site in the UK and 63 globally, including delivery kitchens.
