Sodexo UK & Ireland secures contract extensions totaling £34 million

Sodexo UK & Ireland has extended six contracts with government and police services, totaling £34 million in value.

The catering company will maintain its enduring collaboration with Transport for London, as Sodexo's team of 100 members continues to serve the London Underground, the British Transport Police, the Metropolitan Police, and London's bus drivers for an extended two-year period.

Meanwhile, more than 550 Sodexo employees will persist in delivering services for His Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC) through a one-year extension to Sodexo's facilities management services contract, covering 48 sites, including ten of HMRC's 14 regional centres.

Sodexo will extend its catering services to Avon & Somerset Police, maintaining a partnership established in 2012 for an additional two years. This collaboration encompasses over 3,000 police officers and personnel stationed across 64 police stations in South Gloucestershire, Bath, Somerset, and Bristol.

The catering giant has additionally secured contract extensions in both Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Paul Anstey, chief executive of government, Sodexo UK & Ireland, said: 'As a trusted partner to government we look forward to continuing to provide services that support delivery of public services and government priorities.'
