Edwards & Blake opens new restaurant at Hexcel Composites


Edwards & Blake has opened a contemporary and cutting-edge new staff restaurant and kitchen at Hexcel Composites in Duxford, Cambridgeshire.

The catering firm worked closely with Hexcel to design and build the eagerly-awaited new facility which caters for over 550 staff. The ergonomic design of the serving and dining areas provides a relaxing environment in which staff can be served, eat and socialise. The new service counter incorporates state-of-the-art theatre cookery equipment and the bright and airy dining area has been equipped with modern furnishings and décor.

The extensive menu features a high quality selection of hot and cold main meat and vegetarian dishes including Chilli and Ginger Chicken and Halloumi and Red Pepper Burgers as well as Edwards & Blake’s very own Street Food range of wraps and pasta pots, mouth-watering salads and freshly-made sandwiches, home-made puddings and cakes.

Director of Sales and Operations, Adrian Cooke said, “We have collaborated closely with Hexcel not only to provide a high quality food offering that is personalised to its needs but also to provide a dining experience that will inspire and excite the customers.
