Vapiano to open first new London restaurant since 2018

Italian restaurant group, Vapiano is tomorrow opening its newest outpost in Paddington, London.

The new restaurant, which will be open from 12pm, is the first to launch in the capital since Vapiano Tottenham Court Road launched in 2018.

Known for offering hyper-customisable menus, Vapiano prides itself on its handmade fresh pasta and pizza that are cooked fresh to order using quality ingredients made on site.

Favourite pasta dishes will be on the menu in Paddington such as the most popular, Gamberetti E Spinaci with King Prawns, with the option to customise it by adding fresh chilli, garlic, meat or fish.

Pizza lovers equally have plenty to choose from, with options such as a classicDiavoloor a hearty Calzone with mushrooms, prosciutto and mozzarella. As with the pasta menu, pizzas can be customised for guests to enjoy their dream combinations.

Vapiano Paddington is located on the corner of Eastbourne Terrace and Craven Road, a stone’s throw from both the train station and the up and coming Paddington basin.

It is the fourth restaurant from the group to hit the capital alongside the busiest Vapiano in the world, Great Portland Street (Oxford Circus), Tottenham Court Road and Tower Bridge. There are also sites in Manchester and Edinburgh.

The new restaurant is the most intimate of the UK Vapiano sites at 4,500 square feet, serving 168 covers compared to the typical 350 covers.

A separate bar will sit in the light and airy space and the restaurant will boast the same sharing tables and laid-back seating areas that Vapiano is well-known for; the ideal place for a quick lunch or long lazy dinner.

Manager Marco Dechecco, who has been in the Vapiano family for over five years, will oversee the restaurant.
