Vapiano to open fourth site

Casual Italian restaurant chain Vapiano is set to open its fourth outlet in Manchester's Corn Exchange - its first restaurant outside London.

The 300-cover restaurant will be spread across two floors and include two bars and lounge areas.

It is scheduled to open mid 2015, following a £2m investment to re-develop the venue.

Vapiano’s Managing Director, Phil Sermon, said, “We are thrilled to have secured such a fantastic site in Manchester.'

'Many of our guests have requested that we open in the north of England and it is exciting that we can now deliver this.'

'Manchester is a vibrant city and I am confident that Vapiano will prove popular and be a great addition to the city’s social scene.'

'This highlights our intent to open many more Vapiano restaurants in prime positions across the UK.”

The company also operates restaurants in Great Portland Street, Wardour Street and Bankside, London.
