The Dusty Knuckle to open bakery & pizzeria tomorrow

Popular London bakery and cafe in Dalston, The Dusty Knuckle is set to open a second site, a bakery and evening pizzeria, tomorrow on Green Lanes, Haringey in N4.

There has been a slight delay to this opening due to staffing shortages from isolating staff.

The brand, which successfully carried on business during lockdown with milk float deliveries, will see its new outlet serve up its infamous potato sourdough along with pastries, sandwiches, soups and salads, along with a range of coffee.

Sandwiches, on fresh baked bubbly bread, include Marinated chicken thigh meat, nduja charred corn salsa, chervil creme fraiche & lemon dressed gem, and Charred podded peas, charred green beans, roasted confit garlic, crispy shallots, fennel & dill salad.

As evening approaches, for three nights a week, The Dusty Knuckle will become a pizzeria serving pizza from a wood-fired oven and beer. The range of pizzas will include: Veggie white pizza with ricotta, fior di latte, potatoes & sweet onion, and Nduja pizza with the brand's own house nduja & honey.

For the weekend, there's an all-day breakfast men with Bacon sandwiches., and Egg, pickled chilli, spring onion & cheddar on focaccia.

The company said, 'Opening our second site amidst the pandemic has pushed us to our limits. It has been made possible from the support of our Kickstarter backers, and a Grant from Unltd in support of our social purpose to improve prospects for young offenders.

'We have poured absolutely everything we have into making our Green Lanes dream come true, and we cannot wait to welcome you into the space and get to know our new community. '

Also, from today, the Dalston venue is back to a full-service operation.
