As it celebrates its first anniversary of trading in Parsons Green, Fulham, the cult restaurant Freak Scene has recruited a new head of operations.
The Freak Scene Restaurant Group has welcomed Alexis Ross into its leadership team as the new head of operations.
Ross brings extensive experience to his new role, having served as a long-time general manager under Russell Norman at Polpo, where he also helped launch the Farringdon site, Brutto. Following this, he managed operations at The Zetter Townhouse and Zobler’s at The Ned.
Scott Hallsworth, former head chef at Nobu London and the creator of the izakaya concept Kurobuta, founded Freak Scene, which prides itself on its Pan-Asian cuisine and punk rock ambiance.
The celebration of a year at Parsons Green also marks the 10-year anniversary of Scott Hallsworth reshaping dining on King’s Road with Kurobuta.
Kurobuta, which started as a pop-up, became a permanent establishment in Chelsea. Freak Scene in Parsons Green represents the evolution of Kurobuta.
The first anniversary of Freak Scene in Parsons Green marks the continued evolution of its menu, featuring signature dishes such as Tuna Sashimi Pizza, Crab Wonton Bombs, and Jerusalem Artichoke Chopsticks, along with new gluten-free and vegan options.
