The Sushi Co is on track to reach 30 UK locations by the end of the year, with a planned pipeline of new openings across London and regional areas.
The fast-casual brand has secured a new flagship location in central Cambridge, set to open this autumn.
Additional openings are planned in Tower Bridge, Brighton, and Basildon in the coming months, with an extra site already secured in Walthamstow.
Three additional sites in the South East are currently in the legal stages, and the group reports positive ongoing discussions with landlords for two more potential openings.
“This means we’ll have 30 restaurants open by the end of 2025,” says Raheel Choudhary, co-founder of The Sushi Co.
“Customers are keen to try our fresh, flavoursome sushi made-to-order in our live kitchens and as a result, we will continue to expand to meet that growing demand. “
The Sushi Co was founded in 2020 and began expanding through franchising in 2022.
“Our goal is to become the leading fast-casual sushi brand based on customer experience, digital innovation and operational excellence,” Choudhary continues.
In the long term, The Sushi Co remains on track to open 100 UK sites by the end of 2030 and is currently welcoming applications from prospective new franchisees to support this growth.
“Site sourcing, store fit out, training, turn-key opening of stores and marketing and full training enable franchisees to maximise potential in this thriving space,” Choudhary adds.
“Franchisees benefit from competitive rates, a low initial investment, a proven business model that delivers strong cash flow, and an industry-leading return on investment.”
“Investors can be confident the support of The Sushi Co’s experienced team to enable them to leverage the work that has gone into creating this exciting franchise opportunity.”
