Cairn Hotel Group buys Stoke Place out of administration

Newcastle-based Cairn Hotel Group has bought the Grade II-listed manor house, Stoke Place hotel in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, out of administration for an undisclosed sum.

The 39-bedroom hotel, which is set within 26 acres of gardens designed by 18th century landscape architect Capability Brown, was previously owned by the Dhillon Group.

Stoke Place also has two cottages plus a separate terrace of bedrooms, and features the three-AA-rosette Seasons restaurant.

Cairn Hotel Group owns and operates 25 hotels across the UK, including the nearby Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross.
