Subway to launch London delivery service

Sandwich shop chain, Subway is planning to launch a delivery service from its London outlets early next year.

Individual Subway's franchisees have found that using third party delivery companies, such as Deliveroo and Just Eat, over the last year has proven successful. However, a more streamlined service across all the sites hasn't been implemented until now.

A Subway spokesperson said, “Subway is always looking at innovative ways to meet our customers’ increasing demands including home delivery.”

The company confirmed that more news on its delivery trial are to be announced ‘very soon’.

There are currently around 2,500 Subway branches in the UK and Ireland, around 900 of which are run by franchisees.
