Shake Shack brings the heat with Fly By Jing collaboration

Burger fast food chain, Shake Shack is to roll out a Sichuan-inspired Chilli Crisp menu this month in collaboration with Fly By Jing, marking the launch of the artisan brand in the UK.

Jing Gao founded Fly By Jing in 2018, inspired by flavours of her hometown in Chengdu, China and its famous 'fly restaurants', soulful hole-in-the-wall eateries so good they attract diners like flies.

Jim Frisch, Shake Shack’s International Culinary Director, shared, “This new menu was inspired by the bold flavors and natural ingredients of Fly By Jing’s Chili Crisp.

'With its signature, tingly Sichuan heat and savory spices, Fly By Jing’s Chili Crisp is a truly delicious pairing to our crispy chicken.”

The new menu includes:
Chilli Crisp Chicken - crispy chicken breast glazed with spicy Sichuan chilli crisp topped with pickled cucumber, shredded lettuce and spring onion mayo

Chilli Crisp Chicken Bites - crispy, 100% chicken bites tossed with spicy Sichuan chilli crisp and served with spring onion mayo sauce

Chilli Crisp Cheese Fries - crinkle-cut fries topped with spicy Sichuan chilli crisp, and Shack cheese sauce.

The Chilli Crisp menu will be available at all UK Shacks from 20 July until 30 September 2022.
