Langham Hospitality Group names Kevin Robinson as Chief Operating Officer

Kevin Robinson has been named Chief Operating Officer of Langham Hospitality Group.

This appointment marks a homecoming for Robinson, who previously oversaw the pre-opening phase of The Langham, Chicago in 2011.

Robinson brings over 30 years of industry experience to his new role, having held leadership positions at renowned hospitality brands such as Westin and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

He also founded the boutique hotel company Aparium Hotel Group and later served as an advisor to a range of independent luxury hotels across the United States.

At Langham Hospitality Group, Robinson will oversee the day-to-day operations of the brand’s portfolio of over 30 properties and lead the execution of upcoming hotel openings.

Bob van den Oord, chief executive of Langham Hospitality Group said: “Kevin’s industry expertise and proven ability to build relationships with hotel owners and create and implement new guest offerings make him the ideal leader to guide our operations.

“His blend of corporate discipline and entrepreneurial agility aligns perfectly with our global growth strategy, which centres on increasing our managed property count to 100 hotels by 2040 while continuing to strengthen our ties with clients and deliver elevated hospitality experiences.”

A subsidiary of Great Eagle Holdings, Langham Hospitality Group manages a diverse portfolio of properties under the Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels, Eaton, and Ying’nFlo brands.

The group is named after its flagship property, The Langham, London, which first opened its doors in 1865.
