The De Vere group has relaunched its Village hotels as De Vere Village Urban Resorts by new CEO Robert Cook (pictured), who now plans to expand the brand by targeting business and leisure travellers as well as creating a new restaurant concept.
The new concept was announced at a gala launch party at the flagship Farnborough ‘black box’ venue which is expected to act as the template for the new brand which provides bedrooms, food and beverage, spa and a leisure club all under one roof, within an urban environment.
The 25 hotels under the brand will now also be rebranded under the names of Victory Chop & Ale House, Velocity Health & Fitness and Viva Urban Spa. The brand is now targeting to open another 15-18 sites over the next three years.
