Krispy Kreme to open new Glasgow store with 150 jobs

American chain, Krispy Kreme is looking to create 150 jobs at a new doughnut restaurant due to open at Braehead in Glasgow later this year. The firm has lodged an application to turn the former Clydebuilt Scottish Maritime Museum at Braehead into a giant doughnut restaurant.

A spokesman for the firm said, 'The premium doughnut retailer is now on the hunt for enthusiastic and passionate individuals that love having a good time and delivering the best possible service.

'Doughnuts will be made fresh everyday at their new Hotlight store and the new team members will learn how make Krispy Kreme’s delicious doughnut range, how to provide customers with expert advice on what flavours to choose from, learn how to be a barista to offer customers the best doughnut companion - Krispy Kreme coffee - which is made from 100% freshly ground Arabica beans, delivering a great experience for customers in store.'
