Krispy Kreme to open first Northern Ireland store

Krispy Kreme, the well known American doughnut and coffeehouse chain, is looking to open its first doughnut store in Northern Ireland.

The global company has advertised that they are looking for staff for its first store in the north. However, the location of the store has not been confirmed at this stage.

It is believed that the new store would be in the North Down district, based on the information that has been presented in the two job listings that have been posted.

Krispy Kreme, founded in North Carolina in 1937, opened its first outlet in the UK in the world famous Harrod's department store in October 2003 and has since gone on to open in sites, including Edinburgh, Bristol, Birmingham and Leeds.

Self-service cabinets are also located in around 500 Tesco stores and service station in Britain, but nowhere on the island of Ireland
