Krispy Kreme celebrates £50m UK turnover & plans expansion


American doughnut manufacturer and retailer, Krispy Kreme has reported a UK turnover of over £50m and, on the back of the strong sales, is to roll out new outlets.

The firm has posted a 16% rise in turnover from it's UK division, which equates to £52,393,000 in the 12 months to 2 February 2014. Turnover stood at £45,073,435 in the previous year.

Adjusted Ebitda before exceptional items came to £9,419,000, which is 18% of sales, compared with £1,674,000 (4% of sales) in the previous year.

Finally, pre-tax profit for the group came to £3,166,379 in comparison to £2,797,244 in the previous year.
