After a successful trial, Greene King has announced that its Order & Pay app has now been rolled out to all 267 pubs in its Hungry Horse brand.
To date, the Greene King Order & Pay app has been downloaded more than half a million times, and has a 4.7 out of 5 rating on both iTunes and Android app stores. Since May 2019, more than 378,000 orders have been processed through the app across pubs involved in the trial.
As well as booking a table at pubs across the country, customers can browse the full Hungry Horse menu, and order and pay directly through the app, without having to leave their table.
Phil Thomas, chief commercial officer at Greene King, said, “We know our customers are looking for increased convenience when dining out, and after a successful trial we’re pleased that Hungry Horse is the first of our brands to benefit from a full rollout across all sites.
“We’ve had very positive feedback from guests and a continuing increase in new users. Families use it so they can order from their table and still attend to their little ones, and we also see friends using it to order more drinks during the football so they don’t miss a second of the action.
