Taco Bell launches first Kent site & 49th in UK


Taco Bell has opened its first restaurant in Kent at Chatham's Dockside, taking over the site fornerly home to Wok N Go.

The 30-cover eatery at The Quays, which serves a variety of Tex-Mex foods like tacos, burritos and nachos, is headed up by Mo Boussaba, general manager.

The Chatham restaurant, owned by franchise company T Bell Ltd, is just one of many planned for the county, with Canterbury, Maidstone and Dartford earmarked as strong possibilities.

Taco Bell, which describes itself as one of America’s most famous Mexican-inspired fast-food chains, originally launched in the United States but has since expanded wordlwide.

There are currently more than 425 Taco Bell restaurants across 27 countries outside of the US. This new opening is the group's 49th UK site.
