New evolved Busaba restaurant launches today in London

Leading Thai casual dining group, Busaba has opened a new restaurant in London’s Oxford Circus.

Situated in Eastcastle Street, the restaurant is the first of a new generation of the ‘classic Busaba’ concept featuring an evolved ‘Bangkok Thai’ brand proposition and interior design.

The 180-cover restaurant is the group’s 15th location and offers the brand’s unique sensory experience through the flavours, aromas and buzz of Modern Bangkok – a city that pulses with energy and a sense of design.

As well as the classic Busaba square communal tables, guests can choose to dine in spaces created for singles and couples at the concertina windows or on high tables near the bar. The interior has evolved to reflect present day urban Bangkok with all its diversity and creativity.

Executive Chef Jude Sangsida has created a new menu with the addition of a Bangkok Char-grill category containing dishes such as Isaan style chicken grilled over charcoals, and a new ‘Best of Busaba’ set-menu, giving diners the chance to sample Busaba’s most popular dishes.

The small plate section provide more choice than ever, perfect for sharing. At £8.95 the new Bangkok Express Lunch menu will offer a selection of single pot dishes, which guests can customise to their liking with Busaba’s favourite choice of condiments.

Alongside these, popular signatures such as the Thai Calamari can be found on the menu together with fragrant Thai curries still using the same loved recipes created 17 year ago and stir-fry dishes cooked in sizzling woks.

To complement the menu, Busaba offers a new range of Thai inspired cocktails that are delivered fast and fun, blended juices using exotic and fresh ingredients, alongside Asian beers and Thai spirits.

Jason Myers, Busaba CEO, commented, “The first Busaba opened just a stone’s throw away from Oxford Circus on Soho’s Wardour Street and remains one of our busiest restaurant with queues today 17 years later. We’re thrilled that there continues to be growing demand for Busaba’s unique Thai food and hospitality offer, allowing us to open a brand new flagship West End restaurant in Eastcastle Street. We look forward to the continued growth of the restaurant group, both in London and beyond.”

Open from lunch through to dinner, the restaurant, with an average spend of under £20 per person, takes limited bookings via its online system, offers a click and collect service and caters to groups with a dedicated menu for parties over eight. The brand also operates a loyalty and payment app allowing guests to pay when their ready and earn rewards with the brand’s ‘path to enlightenment’ programme.
