Simply Fresh, the grocery store chain that focuses on local and best of British products, anchored by an organic healthy food range, has today launched a trial with Sainsbury’s.
The new trial sees Simply Fresh stock around 2,000 of Sainsbury’s own label and branded products at its London store in Old Oak Lane, Willesden, including food-to-go, meat, fish, fruit and vegetables.
Simply Fresh stated that it's committed to meeting and exceeding customer expectations, and the trial will provide valuable feedback on how it continues this in the future.
Sainsbury’s explained that the new partnership was part of its strategy to grow its business and offer even more customers great quality and choice, whenever and wherever they choose to shop.
A Sainsbury’s spokeswoman added that they will be reviewing and iterating the store offer as they go and will use results and customer feedback to inform next steps.
All other Simply Fresh and Simply Local stores will continue to be supplied by Costcutter Supermarkets Group.
