Welbilt UK has announced that it has welcomed Joshua Bruce as the new Sales Manager for the Midlands and North-East.
Bruce has fulfilled various foodservice/sales roles over his 14-year career, which began at the tender age of just 15, when he became a part-time kitchen porter.
Due to this background, Bruce comes equipped with a valuable operator-led understanding of the practical needs of chefs and kitchen staff, which perfectly complements his natural sales flare and enduring passion for the foodservice industry.
Bruce commented, “I have always loved the various complexities and fast-paced nature of the foodservice sector, hence why I am so excited to be returning to the industry that I love, in a role that I feel confident in, and of course, with a reputable brand that offers the very best catering equipment solutions.”
Before entering the foodservice sales world in 2014, Bruce fulfilled various chef roles which is where this Hull University graduate first came across Welbilt equipment:
He said, “For years, I have cooked in and worked with various key pieces of Welbilt equipment, hence why my product confidence and understanding is very strong. Plus, by working with these appliances for so many years, I also understand how imperative quality kitchen equipment to the efficient running of a catering provision.”
