OCS renews Eurotunnel contract

OCS, a facilities management provider, has renewed its contract with Eurotunnel. The partnership has been extended for an additional five years, with the possibility of increasing this to seven, following a competitive tender process involving eight rival bidders.

As part of the agreement, OCS will continue delivering daily catering services across Eurotunnel sites, as well as off-site catering support for external events and meetings.

The team has expanded its vending services to enhance operational efficiency and launched a pre-order app, enabling colleagues to order meals in advance.

In addition, Chris Ince, OCS UK & Ireland’s Chef Director for Catering, has introduced themed initiatives such as the Ruby Railway pop-up, while also developing carbon-conscious menus in collaboration with Eurotunnel’s ESG team.

Giles Davies, operations manager – catering, OCS UK and Ireland, said: “We are pleased to continue our partnership with Eurotunnel, delivering innovative catering and vending solutions that meet the evolving needs of their workforce. Our focus on sustainability, operational efficiency, and quality ensures that we provide exceptional value while supporting the local community.”

OCS UK & Ireland, part of the wider OCS Group, employs more than 50,000 colleagues and generates an annual turnover exceeding £2.2 billion.
