We Are Bar Group acquires former Balls Brothers site

We Are Bar Group has acquired the former Balls Brothers site, Adam's Court, in the City of London, which is a stone's throw away from Bank Underground station.

Simon Vardigans, chairman of We Are Bar Group, commented that he and the operating team were delighted to be able to add another high quality site to the group’s stable of bars and welcomed all the transferring staff.

Andy Frisby of Fleurets brokered the leasehold transaction on behalf of Balls Brothers and said, “We are delighted that this transaction completed in time for the busy Christmas period. The City of London is a vibrant area with a very strong mid-week trade, and therefore sites in the City are in high and constant demand.

'The unit is in the shadow of 22 Bishopsgate, the ‘vertical village’. This 912 ft tall building will host 1,291,700 sq ft of offices but also a marketplace, London’s largest cycle park as well as gym facilities, boasting the highest climbing wall in the country.”

We Are Bar Group owns and operates 9 other bars and restaurants throughout the City of London branded as Jamies Wine Bars (Suffolk Lane, Tudor Street, Ludgate Hill, London Wall, St Mary at Hill), We Are Bar (Bishopsgate), Number 25 (Birchin Lane), Willy’s Wine Bar (Fenchurch Street) and The Crosswall (Minories).
