Rice Error, the home delivery and click and collect service created by BAO, has launched a limited edition rice box in collaboration with acclaimed ex-Koya chef, Junya Yamasaki.
‘The BLT’ box, the first collaboration of its kind, will be available to order from today, Tuesday 30 June, from all three Rice Error locations - Borough, Hackney and Fitzrovia. For each box purchased, BAO will donate one meal to each of the restaurant’s nearest homeless shelters.
The exclusive rice dish is chef Junya’s playful, Japanese twist on the classic British sandwich, and features Mortadella ham, bacon, avocado, datterino tomatoes, little gem lettuce, wasabi mayonnaise, nori and toasted sesame, all atop a bed of award winning Chirashi rice.
Diners can complete their order with a selection of ‘Side Errors’ including the Taiwanese Fried Chicken bucket with hot sauce, plus desserts - from Pineapple Cake to classically BAO flavoured Ice Cream Tubs - Horlicks, Milk Tea and Peanut.
Those ordering the limited edition box from Hackney and now Borough will also be able to enjoy cocktails from BAO’s newest delivery service, Cocktail Rescue - including BAO-HI, the restaurant’s best-selling Suntory highball.
