Piccolino to open new London restaurant in landmark partnership

Piccolino will launch a new restaurant this summer at Hilton London Tower Bridge, marking a significant milestone for the brand. This opening represents a pivotal step in Piccolino’s evolution, as it embarks on its first-ever partnership within a hotel setting—ushering in an exciting new chapter of growth.

Part of the privately owned Individual Restaurants group, Piccolino currently operates 22 locations across the UK. The upcoming opening marks the brand’s first entry into the hotel sector, underscoring Individual Restaurants’ strategic focus on brand evolution and market expansion. This move follows a record-breaking year, with the group achieving a 14% increase in total sales in December 2024.

Over the past year, Individual Restaurants has accelerated its growth strategy, opening three new locations in the South of England in 2024. With a strong focus on strategic innovation and brand evolution, the new Tower Bridge restaurant represents the culmination of this forward-looking vision.

The Tower Bridge restaurant will offer a refined and authentic Italian dining experience, featuring a menu that showcases luxurious dishes crafted from the finest ingredients. From handmade pasta to indulgent caviar, guests can expect Piccolino’s signature gold standard in Italian cuisine. The new location will also introduce a breakfast offering for the first time, reimagining contemporary morning favourites with an Italian twist, alongside a full continental selection.

Reflecting the brand’s evolution through design, the venue offers a modern interpretation of the traditional Italian restaurant, with minimalist aesthetics that pay homage to Piccolino’s authentic Italian roots.

The new opening continues the brand’s 2024 expansion into new regions, following successful launches in Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, and Chichester, alongside a £4 million investment into the wider estate.

Andrew Garton, CEO of Individual Restaurants said: “This new opening marks a new chapter of Piccolino. This is the first-time we are bringing our signature Italian hospitality into the hotel sector, and we are doing so with a newly elevated look and feel to represent where the brand is heading. Following a record year, this investment represents a new era for the Piccolino brand, bringing the focus back to the food, the quality, provenance and charm that we are known for. We are evolving Piccolino, rooting ourselves in authentic experiences and this partnership with the Hilton is just the beginning.”
