Olivia Immesi named Chief Executive Officer of Native Places

Olivia Immesi has been promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer at the UK aparthotel brand Native Places.

Having joined the company as Managing Director in 2021, Olivia Immesi will now oversee the day-to-day operations of Native Places, managing its 11 sites in London along with its properties in Manchester, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

With a wealth of industry experience exceeding 20 years, Immesi's journey began with the launch of the original Hoxton in Shoreditch and the Ace Hotel in London.

Subsequently, she assumed the role of Director of Sales at the Hoxton, where she served for six years. Following this tenure, she transitioned to a position focusing on sales and marketing strategies at the first Ace Hotel in Europe.

In 2018, she achieved the position of General Manager at the Curtain Hotel and Members' Club in Shoreditch, subsequently transformed into a Mondrian hotel.

In her latest role, Immesi has unveiled ambitious plans to expedite the company's UK expansion, particularly in anticipation of the upcoming launch of Native King's Wardrobe in St. Paul's later this year.

Additionally, Native Glasgow is undergoing a substantial refurbishment, with plans to introduce new penthouse and premium studios scheduled for the coming year.

Looking ahead to 2025, Native Places has further openings in the pipeline, including expansions in London's Fulham and Birmingham, marking a new location for the brand.

Immesi has committed to the goal of transforming Native Places into a net-zero carbon operation by the year 2030.

She said: 'I am delighted to start a new role and chapter within Native Places. Having been with the brand for just three years now, I'm looking forward to conscientiously cultivating the brand further and cementing our position as the leading lifestyle aparthotel provider in the UK.

'Driving our ambitious expansion plans into Europe, we will continue to reshape the hospitality sector while developing innovative concepts that connect our guests with local communities while prioritising sustainable operations, stylish design, extra space and greater flexibility for our guests.'

Established in 1998, Native Places has evolved into a network of 11 serviced apartments, part of the Apartment Collection. The brand also encompasses Counter, its food and beverage offering, and Ducie Street Warehouse, a multifaceted establishment featuring a bar, restaurant, and hotel located in Manchester.
