Ennismore confirms the opening of new hotels in the UK

Ennismore has officially announced the opening dates for two new hotels in the UK: Hyde London City and The Hoxton, Edinburgh.

Scheduled for a mid-2024 debut, the seven-story Hyde London City will mark the brand's first presence in the UK. Situated in a Grade II-listed building on the Old Bailey in the City of London, this 111-room property is set to showcase a modern Turkish restaurant along with a subterranean cocktail and record bar.

In mid-2024, The Hoxton is set to unveil its first Scottish property with the launch of a new establishment in Edinburgh.

Located in the Haymarket neighborhood, the 214-room hotel will boast an open lobby, the Patatino Italian restaurant, and versatile event spaces.

Additionally, the property will introduce the Hoxton brand's first aparthotel concept, featuring three self-contained flats with three bedrooms each, catering to long-stay accommodation needs.

The first hotel under the Hoxton brand was launched by Sinclair Beecham, the entrepreneur behind Pret A Manger, in Shoreditch in 2006. Ennismore founder Sharan Pasricha acquired the hotel in 2012. Since then, the brand has expanded with four properties in London and hotels in Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, and Rome.

Gaurav Bhushan, Co-chief executive of Ennismore, said: 'Ennismore has a unique position within the industry with an eco-system of experiences built around hotels, all-inclusive resorts, restaurants and bars, branded residences and coworking.

'Our growth over the next few years shows us that there is a strong desire and demand for lifestyle and leisure brands in all regions.'

Ennismore, a joint venture with hotel giant Accor, presently boasts a portfolio of 144 hotels and resorts.
