Cosmo to open 18th restaurant in Norwich next month

Cosmo is to create 80 jobs at its 18th restaurant on the site formerly occupied by Habitat, which is due to open in Norwich in September.

The restaurant group, which launched in 2003, will invest £1.3m revamping the site, which has been empty since Habitat shut its doors in May 2011.

Cosmo said that it will offer customers 150 dishes from across the world, inspired by Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Mexican and Brazilian cuisine. The restaurant will have eight “live” cooking stations and will cater to 250 customers.

Kan Koo, Cosmo Group Partner, said, “With Norwich being a top ten retail destination in the UK, Cosmo offers a fresh approach to dining out for visitors alongside business people, families, students, couples and individuals living locally.”
