Amy Corbin and Patrick Williams, the duo behind Kudu Collective, have revealed plans to move their Peckham-based venture to Marylebone in central London.
The husband-and-wife team launched the original Kudu on Queens Road in Peckham in January 2018, earning a Michelin Bib Gourmand for their efforts.
In January 2020, they opened the cocktail bar Smokey Kudu, which has since closed. This was followed by the launch of gallery and private dining space Curious Kudu in May 2021, and Kudu Grill in September of the same year.
The pair said on Instagram: “We are beyond excited to officially announce that after eight wonderful years in Peckham, the Kudu sites will be relocating to a new home in Marylebone this September.
“The new restaurant will bring our three sites together under one roof, marking an exciting new chapter for our company! The site will feature brand-new dishes alongside standout favourites from both Kudu and Kudu Grill, as well as a private dining room and bar area.”
Williams began his culinary career at La Colombe in Cape Town, later honing his skills at Camphors at Vergelegen. After relocating to London, he joined Robin Gill’s team at The Manor and eventually became sous chef at Paradise Garage.
Corbin, co-owner of Kudu Collective, grew up immersed in the hospitality industry as the daughter of Chris Corbin, co-founder of the renowned Corbin & King restaurant group.
Kudu and Kudu Grill in Peckham will offer a limited-edition ‘Best of Kudu’ menu during July and August.
